Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Brand Awareness – increases exposure and awareness of GUESS products which eventually leads to increase in sales and sell through:
-Coordinates with mall marketing for execution of projects such as directional signages, tie-ups, in-mall posters, Omni channels and extra area for sales and activation.
-Creates content that is relatable by the brand’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
-Creates clear advertisement of promotions in order for the customers to see clearly what’s in-store for them and they will get excited about it.
-Implements the provision of Gantt Chart for every Marketing Activity for all concerned departments to make sure that everyone is in the loop.
-Coordinates, checks, and secures approval of articles, display ads and digitorials.
-Pitches-in ideas on the correct concept during planning stage, ensuring success by identifying right target market.
Initiates localized marketing strategies aligned to local events and festivals by providing at least a generic promo on all store openings.
2. Sales Contribution based on Marketing Initiated Promos:
-Conducts sales turn-over analysis through GWP and promotions.
-Interacts with mall admin on social media posts to further boost brand visibility on a per mall event.
-Source campaign assets and materials from GUESS cloud sites.
-Oversees impact of foot traffic.
-Ensures that store opening campaigns and promotions are well-accepted by customers, therefore effective.
3. Seeding and PR Activities – provides merchandising with names of the influencers that will receive seeding of new merchandise and special collections with corresponding items annually.
4.Overseeing and Checking of Engineering, Creative and Visual Merchandising Outputs:
-Ensures store signage and logo are well read and visible.
-Ensures that store visual presentation is done exactly per GUESS standard.
-Proofing of store assets/images prior to submission to Principal.
-Physically oversees every store opening to ensure that all marketing concerns are well taken care of leaving no room for disorganization and all requirements are met and well prepared.
-Ensures that all marketing-related store fixtures are in perfect condition prior to every store opening.
-Ensures that all materials used by VM are well presented (POPs, images).
5.Compliance Issues:
-Protects and safeguards the company’s brand integrity at all times and ensures compliance with all statutory requirements.
-Conducts periodic review of regulatory requirements to ensure that all products and events are compliant with applicable government requirements and keeps the management abreast on new regulatory issues, evolving trends and amendments.
6. Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
Job Specifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management or relevant business course.
-Minimum three (3) years of relevant management experience and excellent track record in developing brand management strateg
-Impressive track record in designing, developing and implementing aggressive brand awareness campaigns and in ensuring that the company’s brands achieve optimal market penetration
-Strong management competencies in the areas of executive and leadership development, managerial coaching and mentoring and situational assessment skills.
-An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills.
-Proficient with MS Office applications such as word, excel and power point.
