Marketing Specialist

Objectives of this role
Gain a thorough understanding of our products, standards, and differentiators so that strategies can be developed for more-effective communications and brand awareness
Document procedures, processes, and workflows, and recommend changes for greater efficiencies
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, with special focus on psychographics and buying trends, to understand how marketing activity leads to customer sales
Assist with all internal and external marketing campaigns, producing content for projects and initiatives to enhance lead generation

Areal Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:

a. Sales

· Develop the following plans for the approval of Head of Sales:

Annual sales target and operating budget
Strategies to realize monthly sales target (action plan) by analyzing the following: (a) performance by category; and, (b) growth opportunities/weaknesses.
Formulate, recommend and execute approved promotional sales strategies in a timely manner.
Monitor retails development, market trends and competition (direct and indirect) in areas handled every store visit.
Establish relationships with the mall administration and local government to get first-hand information on any development in the area.
Drive store heads to do a weekly competitors check of the malls they are located to and make a regular report to the Head of Sales on any development and activity by the competition.
Achieve agreed upon ratio of regular vs. sale items sold per store on a monthly basis.
Direct and coordinate sales organization to achieve objectives established in the organization’s strategic plans.
b. Profitability

· Cascade monthly OPEX budget and actual and instill ownership and compliance of all users.

Review annual OPEX budget with Stores
Setup programs to minimize controllable costs (i.e. but not limited to OTs, materials, etc.)
Discuss and review Actual OPEX monthly to users and prepare adjustments needed if costs are erroneously charged and justify results to Head of Sales.
Negotiate from zero to less than standard rent escalation in existing store and lower rates for new store.
c. Operational Excellence

· Direct operations of stores and ensures that the following key areas are focused on:

Implementation of action plans developed per store.
Brand image standards are followed at all times (visual, signage, and marketing.)
Standard policies and procedures are strictly complied by spot-checking factual work done and reports prepared by responsible person every store visit such as store management, cashiering, inventory management, stockroom management, personnel, security, and visual display.
· Manage inventory level of individual stores to maximize sales.

Assign inventory level per store based on display capacity, salability and potential.
Monitor deliveries, assortment and sell thru.
Monitor stocks sell thru, manage non-moving items.
Manage stocks consolidation per area or cluster.
Monitor inventory requests and replenishment.
Execute security measures to zero out shrinkage.
Ensure 100% compliance of Guess Selling Culture.
Execute measures to avoid customer complaints.
d. People Management

· Coach in selling, product analysis, visual display and delivering the excellent customer experience:

Determine training needs of store personnel and recommend training needed to Head of Sales.
Conduct the following training among store personnel as needed: visual guidelines, merchandise facts of new arrivals, new policies and procedures.
Guarantee proper plantilla handling.
e. Manpower Development

· Develop store heads to increase maximum potential as part of succession planning:

Coaching and counseling of staff
Objective evaluation of staff
Sales and customer service skills
Store visual management
Inventory management
Problem-solving and conflict solutions
Carry out replacement planning and succession planning.
f. Reports

· Consolidate and analyze the following reports:

Loyalty program monthly membership
Weekly promotional analysis
Justification of monthly variance report
Weekly report on Unit Per Transaction per store
Monthly customer experience evaluation report
· Weekly Basic Call Procedure.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management or a related field
5+ years of experience as Area Manager, Territory Manager or Regional Manager and with a track record in achieving sales targets.
Must possess a deep understanding of the operational aspects.
Proficiency in inventory management, sales operations and logistics
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and community leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to used data to make informed decisions

Retail Marketing Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Brand Awareness – increases exposure and awareness of GUESS products which eventually leads to increase in sales and sell through:

-Coordinates with mall marketing for execution of projects such as directional signages, tie-ups, in-mall posters, Omni channels and extra area for sales and activation.
-Creates content that is relatable by the brand’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
-Creates clear advertisement of promotions in order for the customers to see clearly what’s in-store for them and they will get excited about it.
-Implements the provision of Gantt Chart for every Marketing Activity for all concerned departments to make sure that everyone is in the loop.
-Coordinates, checks, and secures approval of articles, display ads and digitorials.
-Pitches-in ideas on the correct concept during planning stage, ensuring success by identifying right target market.
Initiates localized marketing strategies aligned to local events and festivals by providing at least a generic promo on all store openings.

2. Sales Contribution based on Marketing Initiated Promos:

-Conducts sales turn-over analysis through GWP and promotions.
-Interacts with mall admin on social media posts to further boost brand visibility on a per mall event.
-Source campaign assets and materials from GUESS cloud sites.
-Oversees impact of foot traffic.
-Ensures that store opening campaigns and promotions are well-accepted by customers, therefore effective.

3. Seeding and PR Activities – provides merchandising with names of the influencers that will receive seeding of new merchandise and special collections with corresponding items annually.

4.Overseeing and Checking of Engineering, Creative and Visual Merchandising Outputs:

-Ensures store signage and logo are well read and visible.
-Ensures that store visual presentation is done exactly per GUESS standard.
-Proofing of store assets/images prior to submission to Principal.
-Physically oversees every store opening to ensure that all marketing concerns are well taken care of leaving no room for disorganization and all requirements are met and well prepared.
-Ensures that all marketing-related store fixtures are in perfect condition prior to every store opening.
-Ensures that all materials used by VM are well presented (POPs, images).

5.Compliance Issues:
-Protects and safeguards the company’s brand integrity at all times and ensures compliance with all statutory requirements.
-Conducts periodic review of regulatory requirements to ensure that all products and events are compliant with applicable government requirements and keeps the management abreast on new regulatory issues, evolving trends and amendments.

Job Specifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management or relevant business course.
